Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using Claristo. By using the platform you agree to comply. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
1. Permitted Use
Claristo is for your personal use in connection with your own job search. You may use it to:
- Upload and manage your own CV and career information.
- Generate tailored CVs, cover letters, and outreach messages for your own applications.
- Track your own job applications and career progress.
2. Prohibited Use
2.1 Misrepresentation
- Misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity to any employer or recruiter.
- Submit applications containing false information, whether generated by Claristo or otherwise.
- Upload another person's CV or personal information without their explicit written consent.
- Impersonate any person or organisation.
2.2 Platform Abuse
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code, prompts, or algorithms of the platform.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or abuse the free trial.
- Share account credentials with others.
2.3 Commercial Exploitation
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Claristo outputs without written permission.
- Use Claristo to provide CV or job application services to third parties on a commercial basis.
2.4 Harmful Content
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or offensive.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
2.5 Legal Compliance
- Use Claristo in violation of any applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
- Use the platform to facilitate any fraudulent or deceptive activity.
3. AI Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer or recruiter, ensuring all submitted content is accurate and truthful, and any consequences arising from the submission of AI-generated content.
4. Reporting Violations
Report misuse to contact@claristo.io. We investigate all reports promptly.
5. Consequences of Violation
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.
- Forfeiture of any remaining subscription period without refund.
- Legal action where the violation causes harm to Claristo Ltd or third parties.
6. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales and forms part of your agreement with Claristo Ltd under our Terms of Service.
